We are a small studio with a passion for creating beautifully crafted spaces for people who love architecture and design. The practice strives to create quiet and restrained buildings that follow a rigorous study of their context and brief which result in a carefully considered contemporary backdrop that enhance people’s lives.

The studio is led by Gary van Heerden who qualified as an architect in 1998 and is registered with the ARB. He set up the practice in 2019 having worked for a number of award-winning high-profile practices in London, Glasgow and Cape Town. He has a passion for the modem readaptation and conversion of existing buildings and is an active member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
